NEW SHARON — Fire damaged a garage at 263 Main St. late Tuesday afternoon.

Owner Tammy Fifield said she was at the library when she received a call about the blaze. The garage contained bikes, patio furniture and toys, she said.

Firefighters from New Sharon, Farmington Fire and Rescue, Industry, Temple and Chesterville helped extinguish the blaze.
