KINGFIELD — Maine Huts & Trails will hold “Thanksgiving at the Huts,” its annual Thanksgiving dinner with a special rate and menu for the holiday. For one night only, Poplar Hut will reopen into full-service mode and provide a Thanksgiving meal at 6 p.m. and overnight lodging on Thursday, Nov. 28.

The menu will feature a traditional roasted turkey with all the fixings, including stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and more. Breakfast will also be provided the following morning.

Cost for members is $94/bed for adults, $54/bed for kids 12 and under, $269/private room; nonmembers, $109/bed for adults, $64/bed for kids 12 and under, $329/private room. Prices include dinner, breakfast, trail lunch and overnight stay.

Huts are currently in self-service season. Poplar Hut will go into full-service exclusively for the evening of the 28th and the morning of the 29th for this event. All huts will reopen for the full-service winter season on Dec. 20.
