The Fryeburg New Church (Church of the New Jerusalem), 12 Oxford St., presented a painting of the Rev. Sage Currie and eight children to the congregation to commemorate the three years that she served the Fryeburg community. Currie was pastor for the church as well as chaplain for hospice care throughout the Mt. Washington Valley area. Currie married Ted Cole, an Episcopalian minister, in Anchorage, Alaska, in the summer. She will continue her service in family ministry at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church there. Pictured in the oil painting by Lovell artist Roger C. Williams are, from top, Currie, Ava Dolley, Zsa Zsa Dolley, Natalie Berry, Soleil Huang-Dale, Brendan Crowe, Owen Crowe, Caileigh Crowe and Astrid Eklund.
