Legion hosts dinner today
DIXFIELD — A Thanksgiving dinner will be held from 4 p.m. until sold out Saturday, Nov. 23, at American Legion Post 100. Cost is $5.
Seniors plan holiday feast
RANGELEY — Annual Senior Citizen Thanksgiving Dinner will be held at noon Sunday, Nov. 24, at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 2614 Main St.
There is no charge at the door; a basket will be passed. The dinner is open to the public. Menu will be turkey with all the trimmings, apple and pumpkin pies.

Lisbon family hosting meal
LISBON — The Watson family will host a Thanksgiving meal for veterans and anyone else who needs a welcome meal, starting at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, at the American Legion Post 158 hall on Webster Street. No reservations are needed.
Masons sponsoring dinner
FARMINGTON — Free traditional Thanksgiving dinner will be sponsored by the Scottish Rite Masons of Augusta Valley on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28.
The meal will be served from noon to 1 p.m. at the Mt. Blue High School food court. Everyone is welcome. A reservation must be made for meals to be delivered and takeouts. Members would appreciate a call from those eating the dinner at the food court also.

NEW GLOUCESTER — The New Gloucester Bible Church will host a free Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 2 p.m. Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28, at Fellowship Hall.

Church offers dinner, games
READFIELD — A free Thanksgiving dinner and fellowship will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, at United Methodist Church of Readfield, Route 17. Come for a meal or for dessert.
There will be cribbage games, UNO and other fun games for the entire family.
‘Thanksgiving at the Huts’
KINGFIELD — Maine Huts & Trails will hold Thanksgiving at the Huts, its annual Thanksgiving dinner, with a special rate and menu for the holiday. For one night only, Poplar Hut will reopen into full-service mode and provide a Thanksgiving meal at 6 p.m. and overnight lodging on Thursday, Nov. 28.
The menu will feature a traditional roasted turkey with all the fixings, including stuffing, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. Breakfast will also be provided the following morning.
Cost for members is $94/bed for adults, $54/bed for kids 12 and under, $269/private room; nonmembers, $109/bed for adults, $64/bed for kids 12 and under, $329/private room. Prices include dinner, breakfast, trail lunch and overnight stay.

Huts are currently in self-service season. Poplar Hut will go into full-service exclusively for the evening of Nov. 28 and the morning of Nov. 29 for this event. All huts will reopen for the full-service winter season on Dec. 20.
Annual Thanksgiving meal
NORWAY — A Thanksgiving Day meal will be held at noon Thursday, Nov. 28, at St. Catherine’s Church Hall, 32 Paris St. The Community Thanksgiving Dinner Committee invites people from Oxford Hills who may otherwise be alone for the holiday.
The free dinner, served family-style, will include turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and vegetables with homemade pies for dessert. The dinner will be prepared and served by members of St. Catherine of Sienna and Christ Episcopal Church. For reservations call 743-2606.
