This is in response to the article, “Students cleaning efforts upset cemetery association” (Nov. 6).

In my opinion, the kids should be commended for their efforts to repair and clean up the cemetery. What a great way for them to learn about their ancestors.

Perhaps if the association had done its job, maybe, just maybe, the kids wouldn’t have to do it. It didn’t take any money out of the association’s pocket and some good may come from it.

At least those kids show some community spirit and were not vandalizing the cemetery.
