LEWISTON — Playgroups, which replaces the Parent Resource Center, invites parents, caregivers and children ages 0-5 to come and play from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Mondays and Thursdays. Space is limited so participants are encouraged to arrive early.

On Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to noon, New Mainer families are invited to come in with their young children for play and exploration.

Playgroups are held at Advocates for Children, 124 Canal Street, Suite A.

Advocates for Children also offers a parent support group from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays. The group is open to all parents and caregivers who wish to share challenges and successes, and to network with other families and gather parenting resources. Child care is provided.
