LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals of Lewiston Auburn Area are teaming up to collect holiday gifts for this year’s Chamber & YPLAA Kids for the Holidays program.

Androscoggin County Head Start, Advocates for Children and Tri-County Mental Health are joining the effort to collect and distribute 1,400 gifts to hundreds of children in Androscoggin County during the holiday season.

From now until Thursday, Dec. 19, people are asked to donate new, unwrapped toys and clothes, appropriate for children age 0-18. The gifts should be delivered to the chamber office, 415 Lisbon St., or call 783-2249 to arrange pickup.

Donors may also bring items to the Chamber breakfast on Thursday, Dec. 12, at the Ramada Inn, or to the Business After Hours event at Lost Valley on Dec. 19.
