MEXICO — Funeral services for Shirley Mawhinney were conducted Wednesday, Nov. 20, at noon at the Mexico First Baptist Church, Mexico, with Pastor Tony Rea officiating. Organist was Timothy Blodgett. Music selections included “The Old Rugged Cross,” “In the Garden,” “Face to Face with Christ My Savior” and “Stand Up For Jesus.” The eulogy was presented by her daughter, Jan Arsenault. The poem “A Grammies Poem” was read by granddaughter, Tausha Plante. Committal services were conducted by Pastor Tony Rea. Interment was at the Farrington-Morton Cemetery, Mexico. Pallbearers were Craig Hewins, Craig Woods, Peter John Peare, Erick Mawhinney, Derek Baltrus and Avery Bradeen. A reception followed at the Mexico First Baptist Church. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home, Rumford.
