FREEPORT — Leighton Brown, 84, of Freeport, died Thursday, Nov. 21.

Born on Sept. 30, 1929, Leighton is survived by his wife, Eleanor; daughter, Brenda; sons, Craig (Raelene) and Jay and daughter-in-law, Doreen; and 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his children, Lee and Terri Jo.
