OXFORD — A ham supper to benefit a church missions trip to San Felipe, Mexico, will be held Friday, Dec. 6, at Daddy O’s restaurant, Route 26.
Twelve adults from the Oxford Advent Christian Church in Oxford will help build a house for the administrator of the Nueva Cancoion residential drug rehabilitation center, a 99plus1 Ministries project in the Baja peninsula.
The church has sent five teams to help this ministry over 10 years. Missions team members have constructed an orphanage and other buildings in San Felipe.
The team is raising money for its next trip Feb. 8-16, 2014.
The Dec. 6 supper will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. The menu is ham, mashed potato, carrots, coleslaw, beverage and dessert. The cost is $10 for adults at the door and $8 in advance. The cost for children ages 12 and under is $5.
