On Small Business Saturday, Nov. 30, those who buy a Freeport 10% Bag for just $5 can then save 10% at participating merchants for 13 months. Just bring the reusable tote to any of the stores and restaurants listed on the bag. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to support the Freeport Community Services Food Pantry.
The weekend of December 6-8 offers more fun events as part of the 20th Sparkle Celebration including the WFCP Home Time Radio Hour at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 and Saturday, Dec. 7; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at Freeport Performing Arts Center. A Musical Holiday Light Show with over 25,000 colored lights synchronized with holiday music will take place from 5-9 p.m. Friday-Sunday, Dec. 6-8, at the L.L.Bean Campus.

Bring the whole family enjoy the Christmas classic “The Polar Express” at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7 and 8 at Nordica Theatre. Admission is free but donations of canned goods or money accepted to benefit the Freeport Community Services Food Pantry.
Go for a free old-fashioned horse-drawn wagon ride from 1-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7 and 8, on Main St. in front of the L.L.Bean Flagship Store.
Bring the kids to The Talking Christmas Tree in front of Linda Bean’s Maine Kitchen and enjoy the magic on Friday, Dec. 6, after the Parade of Lights, and also from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7-8.
