WILTON — The USDA Local Working Group will hold a public meeting from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at the Wilton Town Office.

Topics will include discussion of resource concerns, percentage recommendations for allocated funds, recommendations for capping payments for the practices and local questions for Franklin County funding pool categories.

If you plan to attend and/or if you require special services, call the Franklin County Soil & Water Conservation District at 778-4767 who will handle registration for the Natural Resource Conservation Service. Participants are asked to sign up by 4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 29, for planning purposes. However, the meeting is open to the public.
