WATERVILLE — Area students enrolled at Colby College this fall. Before classes began, each student took part in an orientation that included an introduction to Colby’s rigorous academics, rich cultural life and community involvement opportunities as well as a three-day outdoor excursion.

Alyssa S. Andrews of Norway is a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. She is the daughter of Jeffrey and Roberta Andrews of Norway.

Michelle C. Boucher of Fryeburg is a graduate of Fryeburg Academy. She is the daughter of Gerard and Sarah Boucher of Fryeburg.

Hannah M. Hearn of Auburn is a graduate of Hebron Academy. She is the daughter of Joseph and Heather Hearn of Auburn.

Joshua D. Hews of Poland is a graduate of Hebron Academy. He is the son of Mark and Deborah Hews of Poland.

Lydia R. Larson of New Gloucester is a graduate of Gray New Gloucester High School. She is the daughter of Keith and Kathryn Larson of New Gloucester.

Eloise C. Melcher of Bowdoin is a graduate of Mount Ararat School. She is the daughter of Kurt and Carolyn Melcher of Bowdoin.

Deanna M. Morris of New Gloucester is a graduate of Maranacook Community School. She is the daughter of John and Patricia Morris of New Gloucester.
