LEWISTON — Martha Louise (Kendall) Jackson, 93, passed away at Central Maine Medical Center on Thursday, Nov. 28, following a brief illness.

She was born in Farmington on Sept. 28, 1920, the daughter of the late Frank and Hazel Kendall. She attended schools in Farmington. In late 1950, she and her companion, Clifton Quinby, started a marina and campground at Sebago Lake in Naples. She had been a resident of Country Village Assisted Living in Casco for the past four years.

She is survived by her son, Chester Jackson and his wife, Claudette, of Minot; grandchildren, Celeste Edwards and her husband, Robert, of Gorham, Christopher Jackson and his wife, Cindy, of Hollis Center and Carlton Jackson of Minot; great-grandchildren, Julia Rae and Liana Reese Edwards of Gorham; brothers, Cecil Kendall and his wife, Ann, of Chesterville and Scot Kendall and his wife, Thelma, of Woodstock.

She was predeceased by her companion, Clifton Quinby; and a brother, Carlton Kendall and his wife, Rowene.

Her family wishes to thank Country Village Assisted Living in Casco for the excellent care she received and also the doctors and nurses at Central Maine Medical Center.
