NAPLES, Fla. — Maurice C. “Moe” Nadeau, 68, of Greenwood and Bonita Springs, Fla., died Saturday, Nov. 23, at North Collier Hospital in Naples, Fla. He was a seasonal resident of Bonita Springs for the past several years.

He was born in Lewiston on May 5, 1945, the son of Hubert and Sybil (Saucier) Nadeau. He was a 1963 graduate of Lewiston High School. He enjoyed playing hockey for both L.H.S. and the semipro L-A Twins. He served in the Maine National Guard.

He was employed as a meat cutter for several years and then became a salesman for Dubois Chemical Co., where he worked for 30 years servicing the paper-making industry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid gardener.

Moe is survived by his wife of 31 years, Diana (Heath) Nadeau; his children, Michael Nadeau and his wife, Theresa, of Woodstock, Marianne Kaplan and her husband, Evan, of Denver, Colo., and Michelle Nadeau of Colorado; his granddaughters, Ciara Nadeau and Abigail Kaplan; and his brothers, Hubert Nadeau Jr. and his wife, Lorraine, of Wales, Paul Nadeau and his wife, Cecile, of Auburn and Roland Nadeau of Turner. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Helen Heath of Norway; sisters-in-law, Lauri Roode and Mindy Heath; and nieces and nephews.
