1939 – 2013

AUBURN — Maurice R. Dorais Jr., 74, of Sabattus, passed away on Monday, Dec. 2, at the Hospice House.

He was born in Biddeford on July 29, 1939, to parents Maurice Sr. and Medora (Parent) Dorais. He graduated from Thornton Academy and Casco Bay College. Maurice worked in the Lewiston shoe shops and then Sears, Roebuck and Co., until his retirement.

Maurice enjoyed reading and watching the stock market.

He is survived by his best friend, Bruce Kaherl; his brother-in-law, Gerald Moulin; and his cousins, Norman Morin and Nancy Sammatoro.
