LEWISTON — Roland G. Dubuc, 89, of Lewiston, died Sunday morning, Dec. 1, at his home, after a long illness.

He was born in Lewiston on June 7, 1924, son of the late Roland E. and Rose Robert Dubuc. He was educated in Lewiston schools and was married on Feb. 19, 1944, to Yvette Letourneau. Roland was employed as a sales representative for Prudential Insurance Co. for many years and enjoyed selling various products door-to-door for small, local companies.

He was very proud of his home and enjoyed maintaining his yard. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife.

He is survived by his wife, Yvette, of Lewiston; two sons, Ronald Dubuc and wife, Susan, of Leeds and Michael Dubuc of Lewiston; four grandchildren, Aimee Brown and husband, Josh, Mike Dubuc, Jenna Footer and husband, Nate, and Jon Dubuc; and three great-grandchildren, Sophia and Baylee Brown, and Noah Footer.

He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Angela Dubuc; and a half-sister, Jacqueline Dubuc.

His family extends a special thank-you to the staff at Beacon Hospice, especially Aimee, Sharon, Jamie and Carol, for their excellent care.
