1941 – 2013

AUBURN — David F. Goodwin, 72, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the Auburn Residential Care Center.

Born on Nov. 30, 1941, David served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Thor until 1964. He was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed building model train sets, and he loved to build and fly model airplanes.

He is survived by his two daughters, Susan Barton and Christine Goodwin; his sister, Linda Berube; his five grandchildren, David Barton, Aaron Barton, Annika Barton, Stephanie Frost and Alexander Thomas; three great-grandchildren; five nephews; two nieces; and numerous cousins.

He was predeceased by his best friend and wife, Florence Ann Goodwin; a sister, Janice; both of his brothers, Everett and Daniel Goodwin; and his parents, Delwin and Geraldine Goodwin.
