WALES — Lakeside Chapter No. 60 will hold a meal and meeting Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the Grange-Masonic Hall, 322 Centre Road.
Members will bring covered dishes for a dinner at 6 p.m. The meeting is at 7. At the close of the meeting members will celebrate Christmas with jokes and trivia.
A collection will be taken for the veterans at Togus to help provide them with little extras to enrich their lives.
Last month the Chapter made a modest donation to the Wales Food Bank and one to the Disaster Relief Fund of the General Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, to aid the Philippines as part of their charitable work.
The Chapter will be in recess for the months of January and February. It will resume its labors on March 11, with a potluck supper at 6 p.m. and the Annual Meeting with its election of officers at 7.
The “traveling teapot” has made its way from Freeport to Lisbon Falls and its next stop is at Pine Cone Chapter in Auburn.
