WEST PARIS — Earl E. Milligan, 86, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the Ledgeview Living Center in West Paris. He was formerly of Rumford.
Born in Rumford on Feb. 24, 1927, he was a son of David and Mary (McGrath) Milligan. He was a graduate of Stephens High School in Rumford. He worked as a pulp bleach foreman for Boise Cascade Paper Mill in Rumford, until his retirement.
Earl was married in Rumford on Oct. 30, 1949, to Fay Glover, who died in West Paris on Oct. 16.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice McPherson and her husband, Donald, of Mexico; sons, Maurice of Milford, N.H., Brian and his wife, Lorraine, of Rumford, Neil and his wife, Boni, of Alabama and Jay Milligan and his wife, Sandy, of Windham; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Aletha Hodgson and her husband, Alton, of Rumford; a brother, Roland Milligan and his wife, Thelma, of Rumford; and a daughter-in-law, Sherry Milligan, of Rumford.
He was predeceased by his wife, Fay; a son, Kevin; and a daughter-in-law, Terry Milligan.
