1993 – 2013

AUBURN — Tara Chase, 20, of New Gloucester, passed away in Auburn on Monday, Dec. 2, of injuries from a car accident.

She was born in Lewiston, a daughter of Rhonda Tilley and Thomas Chase. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 2011 and was a great lover of the culinary arts, being very involved with The Green Ladle at Lewiston High School. She was a member of the cadet program in high school, which gave her much pride and joy.

Tara was very fond of all animals and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, and was very social in all she did. Today she is reunited with her older brother, Jordan.

Tara is survived by her parents, Rhonda Tilley and husband, Reggie, of Lewiston and Thomas Chase and wife, Brenda, of New Gloucester; brothers and sisters, Ashley Chase, Nicholas Tilley, Mike Crandall and partner, Laura Wolfson, Marissa Crooker and husband, Dennis, Dustin Tilley and Matthew Tilley; a special nephew, Joel; her partner, Michelle; grandparents, Clara and Dean Neal, Deanna Bernier and Norman Giguere, Nelda Tilley and Berle Brandt, William Tilley and Carol Green, George and Maxine Baker, Robert Burbank and William and Kitty Hartwell; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and great-grandparents.

She was predeceased by her brother, Jordan Chase; grandfather, Bucky Chase; and great-grandmother, Louise Scales.
