Promising newcomers: Juniors — Ryan Bell (5-10 guard), Carter Chabot (5-9 guard), Kevin Dillingham (6-0 forward), Trevor Irish (6-8 center), Abdullahi Mohamed (5-9 guard), Ty Murphy (5-10 guard/forward), Tylon Myers (5-10 guard); Sophomore — Nate Albert (6-3 forward/center).
Outlook: Seven players, including five regular contributors, graduated from the team that knocked off Bangor in the Eastern A quarterfinals. Yet the Blue Devils return six players with significant varsity experience, so a return to Augusta is a goal. Curry, Howell, Brown and Harris give them the speed to set the fast tempo Farrar likes. Gonzalez is a strong post player in the halfcourt offense, while the versatile Mohamud can play anywhere from point guard to power forward.
