1922 – 2013

LISBON FALLS — Barbara Osgood Bailey, passed away Friday, Dec. 6, surrounded by her loving family, after 91 wonderful years.

She was born May 8, 1922, in Bellows Falls, Vt. She lived throughout New England before settling in Lisbon Falls in 1967.

She spent her life making many friends and memories. She loved traveling, knitting, bird watching and enjoyed life in general. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing her.

“Babs” is survived by her son, Ken Bailey; daughter, Linda Beal and her husband, Elwood, daughter, Peg Burke and her husband, Dan, and son, Bob Bailey and his wife, Tammy. She was lovingly called “Grammy Bailey” and “Gramma Babs” by her 10 grandkids; and 16 great-grandkids.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Guy Bailey; and many lifelong friends.
