1959 – 2013

LEWISTON — Rena M. Tardif, 54, of Lewiston, died on Thursday, Dec. 5, at d’Youville Pavilion. She was greeted by her Mother, Marie Langlais, into Heaven.

She was born in Van Buren, on Feb. 21, 1959, the daughter of Armand and Marie (Thibodeau) Tardif and had been a resident of this community for most of her life.

She enjoyed spending much of her time at the Social Learning Center in Lewiston. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Everyone who came in contact with her was greeted by smiles, laughs and kisses. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by four brothers, Edward Tardif and his wife, Diane, of Sabattus, Philip Tardif and his wife, Lydia, of Corpus Christi, Texas, Daniel Tardif and his wife, Linda, of Sabattus and Gary Langlais and his companion, Anita Dionne, of Sabattus; three sisters, Rachel Clevenger and her husband, John, of Sabattus, Brenda Chouinard and her husband, Marc, of Auburn and Judy Thongsavanh and her husband, Thoune, of Auburn; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her mother; father; and stepfather, Willard Langlais.

The family wishes to thank the staff at 3W of d’Youville Pavilion and to the staff at the Social Learning Center.
