Since 2009 the Old South Church Fundraising Committee has partnered with the Farmington Area Ecumenical Ministries. All of the proceeds from the Christmas Carol Sing program benefit the ECU Heat Fund.
The Carol Sing music program will include audience sing along of numerous Christmas carols. This year the program will include the InnerRhythm Drummers; Mt. Blue High School Chamber Singers directed by Carol Shumway and accompanied by Patricia Hayden, who will also perform solo organ selections; Talisker featuring British folk and other unusual Christmas selections; and FAEM All-Church Choir directed by Bruce McInnes.
Reverend Alexis Fuller-Wright will serve as emcee and Reverend Susan Crane will offer an update on the ECU Heat fund. FAEM churches will provide refreshements during intermission. The goal for this year’s Carol Sing is $2,500. Everyone is welcome.
