DEAR SUN SPOTS: I lost a brown “Rocky” jacket with a traffic vest on it and a set of keys in the jacket pocket. I left it on the side of the truck while having lunch and believe I lost it off the truck around the boat launch behind Riverview Dental on North River Road, Auburn.

If anyone has picked it up, you can call me at 461-2456 or email me. Thank you. — Cy Wilkinson, cy.wilkinson90@gmail.com

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I have an urgent request. My daughter recently lost all of her jewelry during her move, when her jewelry armoire fell out of the back of a truck between Naples and Gray. The truck travelled Edes Falls Road, Route 11, 121 and Egypt Road.

Please help her get her lifetime of jewelry back. Understandably, this is very upsetting to her. She doesn’t know I’ve written this. It would be the best holiday surprise she could have. Please call me at 207-693-1147 with any information. — Dianne Morton, dhmmath@gmail.com

DEAR SUN SPOTS, I remember seeing a request from someone looking for baby food jars in your column. I thought I saved it; however, I guess I didn’t. So now I have collected a bag of jars and need to know who was looking for them.

If you still have the information and could reprint it, that would be wonderful. If you do not and the person looking for them sees this, they can contact me at my email below. Thank you for your help.— Charlotte Blier, cblier1@roadrunner.com

ANSWER: That Oct. 7 request was from Dianne, dfarrington@rsu10.org. There may be others who want them as well.

DEAR SUN SPOTS! My hobby includes duct tape art. Because I believe in repurposing, I have more than 100 empty cardboard duct tape “spools” up for grabs to any schoolteacher who can use them for an arts and crafts project. Taping two of these together with decorator duct tape (of course) make beautiful pencil holders.

Take one or take them all, first come, first served. Former Auburn schoolteacher Ken Lord will deliver in Lewiston-Auburn area for me. — Linda, 207-212-3157, Nans2008@live.com

DEAR SUN SPOTS: If the Center for Wisdom’s Women (Nov. 23) has a postal address, I might donate. It would not be worth the 70-plus mile trip for me to drive there. I don’t have the time to drive that distance. — No Name, Jay

ANSWER: The center has its address on its website (www.wisdomswomen.org), but it has the wrong ZIP code (04243 is for post office boxes). You can ship hygiene items to 97 Blake St., Lewiston, ME 04240-7224.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: The step stool M.L. was interested in (Dec. 3) can be found at Walmart near the folding chairs. It can fold flat and has a carry handle; when opened, it is very strong and sturdy. I have one and use it every day. — Pat Malcolm, Lewiston

DEAR SUN SPOTS: This is for the 87-year-old woman seeking a sturdy stool to assist her with getting in and out of bed. My mother had the same issue after she purchased one of those really thick mattresses. Typical step stool seemed a bit narrow, and she had to make sure she put her feet in the right spot before stepping on the stool. This caused problems at times if she got up in the middle of the night.

I ended up giving her my step aerobic stool (which was just collecting dust!). It is wide, stable and just the right height. She doesn’t need to worry about stepping on it in just the right spot, as it is about 2 1/2 feet wide. This might be a solution for your stool-seeking senior. — Susan L., Windham
