Promising newcomers: Boys: Freshmen — Devan Pomeroy, Lucas Alley; Girls: Emma DiPompo.

Season outlook: The Phoenix are a young team all the way around, led by 20-year-old head coach Jacques, who was a top skier for the program only a few years ago. Sylvester is the defending MVC boys’ slalom champion. Based on last year’s results, Jacques expects both teams to have a strong chance of winning the league meet.
