1948 – 2013
BRUNSWICK — Andrew P. Cooper, 64, of Lisbon Falls, died in Brunswick on Thursday, Dec. 12, after a brief illness.
He was born in Auburn on Dec. 20, 1948, to parents Robert and May (Williams) Cooper. Andrew graduated from Edward Little High School and the University of Maine at Orono’s forestry and dairy husbandry programs. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Andrew worked for Realty Resources for many years. He was first selectman for the town of LaGrange and served the Seventh-day Adventist Church as head elder, deacon and Bible teacher.
Andrew will be remembered for his meticulous craftsmanship, his thrifty gardens, and especially for his deep love of family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; his three children, Leisa Maxwell, Greg Arsenault and Kristen Gaughan; brothers, David and Eddie Cooper; sister, Christina Gauthier; five grandchildren; his mother; and many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Andrew was predeceased by his father; and his brother, Alphonse.
