AUBURN —  The wedding of Kimberly Bilodeau and Joseph Freeman was held at 11 a.m. on June 15 at Lost Valley Ski Resort in Auburn. Penny Bean, aunt of the bride and notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Freeman is the daughter of David and Mabel Bilodeau of Auburn. Mr. Freeman is the son of Ernest and Margaret Freeman of Phippsburg.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown made by her mother, which was a white strapless gown with long train with beaded lace on the bodice and applique detail on the skirt and train. The bride made the bouquets which consisted of purple and pink lilacs and white tulips.

Courtney Nightingale, best friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kariann Woolf and Amanda Pierce, friends of the bride.

Ben Freeman served as best man for his brother. Ushers were John Bean and Jeremy Bean, friends of the bridegroom. Andrew and Ben Bilodeau, nephews of the bride, were ring bearers.

A reception followed at Lost Valley Ski Lodge, after which the couple traveled to Niagara Falls, N.Y. They are residing in Phippsburg.

The bride is a graduate of Edward Little High School and a graduate of the University of Maine at Presque Isle with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. She is employed at Maine Medical Center.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Morse High School and is employed at Bath Iron Works.
