AUBURN — The wedding of Megan Marie Miller and Drake Charles McBreairty was held at 4 p.m. on May 18 at Grace Community Church in Auburn. Pastor David Bochtler officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Joan Miller of Turner. The bridegroom is the son of Carol McBreairty of Auburn and Jerry McBreairty of Windham.

The bride wore a sleek gown with lace details and carried a bouquet of lilacs and hydrangea.

Amanda Paquette, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brianna Dostie, Courtney Erskine, Amanda Tewksbury, Meghan McLain and Katrina Martin, friends of the bride.

Serving as best man for his brother was Christian McBreairty. Ushers were Nathan Miller, brother of the bride, and Buck Bochtler, Stephen Obie, Kevin Schwenk and William Wyper, friends of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at Fore Seasons in Turner. Following a wedding trip to Puerto Rico, the couple is residing in Stafford, Va.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Maine with a degree in civil engineering.

The bridegroom is a 2009 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Maine with a degree in mechanical engineering technology. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps on May 11, 2013, and is attending the basic school in Quantico, Va.
