LEWISTON — Emery Paul Boulette, 86, of Monmouth, died peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Central Maine Medical Center, with his loving family by his side, following a long illness.
He was born in Jackman on May 1, 1927, the son of the late Joseph H. and Lea (Pomerleau) Boulette and was a resident of this community for most of his life. He was educated in Jackman schools and was employed as a sheet metal worker for Union 40 in Hartford, Conn.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from Nov. 3, 1950, to Oct. 14, 1952. Emery was a member of the VFW in Sabattus, the Sabattus Lake Association and Sabattus Mountaineers Snowmobile Club, and he was on the Planning Board of the town of Sabattus. Emery was a parishioner at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Sabattus.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Emery is survived by one daughter, Angela Laverty and her husband, Kevin, of Cumming, Ga.; three sons, Daniel Boulette and his wife, Vada, of Standish, Robert Boulette and his wife, Susane, of Sabattus and Patrick Boulette and his wife, Tina, of Wales; seven grandchildren, Mitchell Boulette, Skye and Ariel Boulette, David Pilot and his wife, Laradon, Michael Pilot and his wife, Jayme, Sean Pilot and his wife, Jessica, and Evan Pilot; four great-grandchildren, Aiden, Cohen, Emery and Malachi Pilot; one sister, Irene Gemme and her husband, Lionel, of Southwick, Mass.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a grandson, Bobby-Sue Boulette; three brothers, Emile, Eugene and Henry Boulette; and by a sister, Ida Turgeon.
