1918 – 2013
LAKE WORTH, Fla. — Omer Morin of Lake Worth, Fla. and Sabbathday Lake, departed this life on Sunday, Dec. 1.
He was born in Daigle on April 15,1918, to Fred and Alice Parent Morin. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II, and was a ship painter by trade and a landlord of numerous properties. He cherished his Fourth Degree of Columbus Knighthood and was a member of the VFW Post 4360. He enjoyed ushering Sunday Mass at his church in Florida.
He leaves his children: Patricia and her daughter, Tiffany (Mark) Caicedo, with child; Rachel Deckard and her sons, Chad and Scott; Dennis; Paulette (Harry) McNally and her sons, Shawn and Shane Murray and Brian McNally; and Diane. He also leaves four siblings, Patrick, Ralph (Terry), Theresa Ouellette and Mona (Bill) Farmer.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Madeline Rousseau, in 2007; and his siblings, Roy, Guy, Esther Coyne and Viola Myers.
