LEWISTON — A funeral Mass honoring the life of Rena M. Tardif was celebrated on Wednesday, Dec. 11, at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, following prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home.

The Rev. Marc Caron celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. At the beginning of the Mass, Rena’s brothers and sisters placed the Pall on her casket, which commemorated her Baptism into a new life. The first reading was read by Rena’s niece, Marsha Childs, and the Prayer of the Faithful was read by her niece, Jennifer Dionne. The offertory was brought to altar by her nieces, Lisa Orrok and Amy Barajas.

Pallbearers were Philip and Daniel Tardif, Gary Langlais, Marc Chouinard, Thoune Thongsavanh and Kristopher Orrok. Arrangements were by the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home in Lewiston.
