FARMINGTON — Christmas on Front Street will bring Santa, a live reindeer, hot chocolate, wagon rides and free family movie showings Saturday.

Starting at 10 a.m., “Polar Express” will be shown at Narrow Gauge Cinemas. “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” follows at 10:30 a.m., and “It’s a Wonderful Life” at 12:15 p.m.

Children can have their photo taken with Santa and his sleigh from noon to 2 p.m. at the Stone Hearth Cafe patio. Hot chocolate and cookies will be available at the cafe from noon to 3 p.m. The cafe will open soon at 168 Front St.

A live reindeer will visit Divine Inspirations, 283 Front St., from noon to 3 p.m. and will be available for public viewing.

Wagon rides will be offered from noon to 3 p.m. on Front Street.

Several other merchants on the street will offer special discounts during the day for holiday shoppers.
