Rainbow Federal Credit Union helped raise funds for the 2013 Maine Credit Union Campaign for Ending Hunger. The money raised was then distributed to hunger organizations and food pantries in the area on Nov. 26, when leaders from local organizations were invited to the Credit Union to receive the money raised. Checks for $1000 were given to eight local agencies and a check for $5600 was given to The Good Shepherd Food-Bank. Donations were also given to Hope Haven Gospel Mission and The Salvation Army.
