1967 – 2013

LIVERMORE FALLS — Jeffrey S. Dunton, 46, a resident of Livermore Falls, died unexpectedly, Friday, Dec. 20, at his home.

He was born June 26, 1967, in Lewiston, the son of Albert Moulton Dunton and Sally A. (Conant) Dunton. He was a 1986 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. On July 3, 1993, at his family home in Livermore Falls, he married Autumn D. Harris.

Jeff worked as a shipfitter at Bath Iron Works in Bath for the past 24 years. Jeff was a hard worker and loved his job at BIW. He also kept busy doing things around his home, carpentry, tinkering and was currently restoring his 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe. He was a member of Local S6 out of Bath and also, the Chesterville Grange Excelsior Pomona and State and National Grange. Jeff enjoyed snowmobiling but especially loved times spent with his children and family.

He is survived by his wife, Autumn Dunton; his mother, Sally Austin; children, Michael Dunton and his wife, Michelle, Jonathan and Rebeca Dunton; siblings, Kevin Dunton and his wife, Sherri, and Pamela Letalien and her husband, Michael, all of Livermore Falls; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sharon and George Carter of Strong; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Alex Renshaw of Freeman; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Alton and Leslie Carter of Bangor; and many nieces and nephews.

He was a good man and will be deeply missed by his family.
