1974 – 2013

CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. — George Edward Ayer Jr., 39, entered into eternal rest with his family by his side on Sunday, Dec. 15.

Born March 10, 1974, George was an avid sportsman who enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting, especially with his dad. He was a free spirit who was always willing to help anyone who needed a hand. Through his journey of life, he lived in Maine and for the past 10 years in Florida. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Susan Ayer Rice; stepmother, Darla Ayer; sister, Katherine Ayer; brother, Edward Ayer; stepfather, Edward Rice; aunt and uncle, Mike and Rose Henry; niece, Sinoemi Ayer; cousins, Michael and Amy Henry, Tina Ayer Hebert and Tammy Ayer Marshall; stepsister and stepbrother, Linfred and Amy Locke; and lifelong friends, Darren Lilly and Steve McIver.

He was predeceased by his father, George Ayer Sr.; paternal grandparents, Archie and Marie Ayer; and uncle, Buddy Ayer.
