1974 – 2013

PORTLAND — Wendy E. (Martin) Chamberlain, 39, of Minot, died unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 20, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

She was born on Oct. 11, 1974, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, the daughter of Richard and Joline (Yeaton) Martin Sr. of Minot. Wendy attended Minot Consolidated School and graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn, in 1992. She then went on to attend St. Joseph College in Windham and Central Maine Community College in Auburn, where she graduated with a nursing degree. She worked at Central Maine Medical Center for 10 years.

Wendy enjoyed writing poetry, going camping with her family, cooking and spending time with her animals. She was married to Marc P. Chamberlain, of Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada.

Besides her parents, Wendy is survived by her children, Saree Boutin, Sebastien Chamberlain and Abrial Chamberlain; siblings, Doreen (Ring) and Mark Huston, Jim and Jean Ring Jr., Richard Martin Jr. and Donna (Martin) and Phil Bridges; uncles, Micheal Martin Elwood and Barbara Yeaton and Will and Nancy Grover; aunt, Connie Davis; special nieces, Dani, Crystal and Jenifer; nephews, Derrick, James and Donald; and five great-nephews. She also leaves her best friend, Karen Verril; and special friends, the Pratt family.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Paul Martin and Brenice (Montminy) Martin and George and Leona (Haley) Yeaton.

She will be missed by all who loved her.
