1938 – 2013

LEWISTON — Catherine “Kay” Davies, 75, of Sabattus and formerly of Wayne, Ohio, passed away Friday, Dec. 20, in Lewiston.

She was born on Nov. 2, 1938, in Ashland, Ohio, to the late Harold Bixby and Marguerite Bixby (Sowers). Kay married Jan M. Davies on Nov. 28, 1959, in Gibsonburg, Ohio.

Kay was a 1956 graduate of Gibsonburg High School. She was a devoted homemaker, and enjoyed sewing and crocheting.

Surviving Kay is her loving husband of 54 years, Jan; sons, Jim and wife, Robin Davies, of Cygnet, Ohio, Tim and wife, Laura, of Risingsun, Ohio, Steve and wife, Suzanne, of Sabattus and Mike and wife, Brenda, of Weston, Ohio; daughter, Kim Davies of Honey Creek, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Kay was predeceased by her mother and father.
