All net proceeds will benefit The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing.

Along with Hobdy, Comedy Fix founder Mark Turcotte will host Mike Levinsky, Chris Choate, Ryan Chani and Mike Howlett.

Levinsky is a regular on the Portland scene and created the weekly Portland Comedy Showcase. Choate is a local favorite who brings a unique view of life as a father, farmer and postal worker. New Hampshire-based Chani performs throughout New England and Howlett is a regular at the Comedy Studio in Boston.

The Dempsey Center is located in Lewiston and was founded by actor and Maine native Patrick Dempsey in response to his mother’s multiple bouts with ovarian cancer. The Center opened in 2008 and provides free support, education and integrative medicine services to anyone impacted by cancer. More information can be found at www.dempseycenter.org/. The past two Comedy Fix shows have raised $1,224 for the Center.

The show is for ages 21 and older and contains adult language and content. Doors open at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $10 and may be reserved at www.comedyfixlive.com. The Fireside Inn is at 1777 Washington St. For more information, call 207-513-0742 or email mark@comedyfixlive.com.
