- Seth Goodwin, a French teacher at Edward Little High School and self-employed landscaper, transfers sand Thursday in Lewiston from a spreader to another truck so he can get the sand spreader fixed after it broke during the recent ice storm. “It’s been a busy start to the winter,” said Goodwin, who plows and sands residential customers and a few commercial lots in the winter months. He said he put down “more than usual” amounts of sand and salt during the storm.
