LEWISTON — Daniel Richard Landry, 43, of Lewiston, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 24, at his home.
Daniel was born on March 8, 1970, the son of Joseph A. Landry Jr. and Katherine A. Flaherty. Daniel attended Portland schools and completed his adult education. He was looking forward to classes at Southern Maine Community College.
Daniel spent many years as a commercial fisherman in Portland and off the Grand Banks of Newfoundland. He recently worked as a day laborer in Lewiston. Daniel was a wiz at sudoku. He loved texting and sending emails and had a lot of friends on Facebook that he enjoyed talking to.
Besides his parents, Daniel is survived by a daughter, Khristy Landry of Gorham; brothers, Joseph and his wife, Sandra Landry, of Hebron and Sonny and his wife, Sue Landry, of Otisfield; sisters, Tammy and her husband, George Burgess, of Cumming, Ga., Cathy and her husband, Gordon Beckwith, of Lewiston and Candy and her husband, Joseph Helmuth, of Redlands, Calif.; along with several nieces and nephews.
