WEST PARIS — The First Universalist Church of West Paris, Main Street, announces its January worship services.
All are welcome to attend Sunday services at 9 a.m. Refreshments follow the services. The schedule is as follows:
Jan. 5: “Receiving with Joy, Giving with Care,” led by the Rev. Fayre Stephenson.
Jan. 12: “Epiphany,” led by the Rev. Sue Gabrielson, who is minister at the Sanford Unitarian Universalist Church.
Jan. 19: “Why War? Why Peace?,” led by the Rev. Fayre Stephenson. This was the topic of last month’s public discussion at Fare Share Co-op. At the worship service, using ideas from that public discussion as a jumping off point, those attending will explore the origins of war and attitudes as Unitarian Universalists in times of war.
Jan. 26: “Judgment Call,” led by guest speaker Cindy Reedy, who is a regular speaker at the church. She is a teacher and life-long UU.
