AUBURN — Prince of Peace Parish will sponsor a special screening of the theater-quality movie
at the Community Little Theater, 30 Academy Street.
The Prince of Peace Parish Evangelization Committee hopes to provide parishioners and anyone else interested with an opportunity to learn more about Jesus through the life of His mother Mary. The film vividly captures the essence of Mary’s profound faith and trust in God amidst the great mysteries that she lived with as the Mother of the Messiah, her compassionate humanity and concern for others, and the deep love that she and Jesus shared for one another.
This movie underscores her special role in God’s plan for our redemption, her unique relationship with Christ, and the tremendous suffering that she endured in union with his passion and death, as well as her serene joy at his Resurrection.
The first showing will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, and the second showing will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23.
This film is two-and-a-half hours long and there will be a brief intermission during the showings. There is some violence within this film and although the movie is not rated, Ignatius Press would rate it PG.
Tickets are $5 each. Visit www.princeofpeace.me for ticket information.
