PARIS — Pat Ingersoll, APDT, PSI recently joined the staff of the Responsible Pet Care Shelter and Adoption Center in Paris, as Canine Program Director. This was made possible by two generous $10,000 grants received from the Maine Community Foundation and the Doree Taylor Charitable Foundation.

Pat brings with her over 25 years of experience training dogs. She will work with employees to strengthen safe kennel protocols and assess behavior of dogs that come to the shelter. A basic obedience training program will be established to make dogs safer to handle and more attractive to adopt. Her skills will also be utilized to increase and strengthen the volunteer group that works with the dogs to enrich their lives while they spend time at the shelter.

Pat is the owner of Moose and Me Dog Training and lives with her husband, John, in Norway.
