AUBURN — Two Auburn residents, Jim Tracey and Larry French, have joined the American Red Cross of Maine.
French is the new disaster program manager for the coastal territory representing Hancock, Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, Waldo, and Washington counties. His background includes working as an emergency medical services program manager, as well as volunteering with the Red Cross for more than 10 years in Aroostook and Androscoggin Counties.
Tracey is the new Americorps VISTA for the Red Cross’ Service to the Armed Forces programs. In this 12-month assignment, Tracey, a military veteran, will manage and grow the program, which provides emergency communications and outreach to military personnel and families as well as supporting veterans’ hospitals.
