WILTON — Funeral services for Ruth Robbins Adamo, a lifelong resident of Wilton, were held Tuesday morning, Jan. 14, at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church UCC in Wilton, with the Rev. Margaret Proctor officiating.

Mary Ryan was the organist. Congregational hymns included “This Is My Song” and “Blessed Be The Tie That Binds.” Readings included a unison reading of Psalm 23; Epistle: Romans 8, selected verses and Gospel: John 14, selected verses. Words of remembrance were shared by close friends. Special music included her favorite song, “Born To Be Wild.”

Following services, a reception was held in the church vestry. Spring burial will be in the family lot at Lakeview Cemetery in Wilton. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, 136 High St., Wilton.
