BANGOR — Cross Insurance, a subsidiary of Cross Financial Corp., has announced the assets acquisitions of insurance broker Willis of Northern New England Inc.
Formerly known as the Dunlap Agency, Willis of Northern New England operated out of four Maine offices in Lewiston, Bangor, New Gloucester and Portland. All four offices will subsequently be re-branded under the Cross Insurance name.
Cross Insurance will retain a substantial number of Willis of Northern New England employees. Cross officials remain wholly committed to serving the insurance needs of clients in this time of transition.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Since its founding in 1954, Cross Insurance has grown extensively through the acquisition of more than 100 insurance agencies throughout New England.
