AUGUSTA — To ensure that women are a visible presence in 2014, The Maine Women’s Lobby is joining with its partners in the Coalition for Maine Women to present the 2014 Maine Women’s Day at the State House from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21. The group plans to fill the halls with women wearing red to highlight the issues that matter most to Maine women and their families.

Registration and tabling in the Hall of Flags will start at 8:30 a.m.

Also on the agenda: issue briefing and training in the Welcome Center, 9:30 a.m.; press conferences in the Hall of Flags, 10:30 and 11 a.m.; lunch on your own and lobby teams meet, 11:30 a.m. to noon; advocacy and communications training, 12:30 to 2 p.m.
