I think that if a person is involved or even interested in government and is familiar with it, that person should be able to vote, even if he is less than 18 years old.
People who don’t know about the issues shouldn’t be allowed to vote.
People should have to take an online test and if they get at least 85 percent correct then they could vote right there online and their vote would count. Those who get lower than 85 percent shouldn’t be allowed to vote.
Voting should be limited to those who actually understand who is running and what they are like and how they are going to help the public, instead of liking the candidate’s name or seeing them at the voting booth.
People do not follow up on who is running and that is not fair to other people who really know what’s going on and know what the smart choices are and who to vote for. Then there are some who just go in and vote randomly.
I also think that people who were not born in this country should be able to vote if they know what is going on and they know what has worked for this country.
Also, people who are in jail and who were born in this country should be able to vote because they are people, too. Just because they made a bad choice does not mean that they shouldn’t be able to be part of the outside world.
